A fish camp at Lake Martin

The small cabin is deliberately simple, durable, and unpretentious, with architecture that takes its cues from the classic Southern “fish camp.” A generous wraparound screened porch extends the living space toward Lake Martin, while the interior is centered around an open great room designed for gathering, cooking, and entertaining.

Four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, built-in bunks, and a picture frame window nook bed make the house easy to share with family and guests. Deep green siding, dark millwork, warm wood, slate, and aged metal give the retreat a grounded, relaxed character meant to feel comfortable from the start.
